Howling 3: The Marsupials (1987)
After watching this movie I had only question, why in the hell did they do sequels to The Howling? Howling 2 was awful and this one was even worse. Then I come to find out that they did 7 Howling movies, which means I still haven't seen 4 of them. Well, I'm calling it quits with them, I don't care to see anymore of these sequels and I don't want to waste more time from life I'll never get back. And I don't want to waste a Netflix rental on these. These sequels don't even come close to the original, seriously. I don't know why the ever did them but they are a travesty.
I don't know how many of you have seen these but they are horrible. I kind of wish I know people who've seen them so I know that I'm not the only one here who thinks they're ridiculous. I really don't suggest that you see these unless you are curious, but I'd rather catch some sleep than sit through these again. Such a shame, the first film was so good.
Synopsis taken from IMDb
A strange race of human-like marsupials appear suddenly in Australia, and a sociologist who studies these creatures falls in love with a female one. Is this a dangerous combination?
I give this movie 0 stars. I'll still throw the trailer in here for the sake of uniformity.

Jennifer's Body
Okay since I haven't gotten around to watching Howling 3 yet I figured I'd review another horror film that I've seen and haven't reviewed yet. This film wasn't as bad as I expected to be totally honest. It was quite entertaining and enjoyable, however that doesn't make it good, or mean I loved it or anything. Seen and reviewed way worse up here. I liked the cast and the story, I just feel like it wasn't executed right. If this were an 80's movie it would have been a classic.
Synopsis taken from IMDb
Nerdy reserved bookworm Needy, and arrogant, conceited cheerleader Jennifer are best friends, though they share little in common. They share even less in common when Jennifer mysteriously gains an appetite for human blood after a disastrous fire at a local bar. As Needy's male classmates are steadily killed off in gruesome attacks, the young girl must uncover the truth behind her friend's transformation and find a way to stop the bloodthirsty rampage before it reaches her own boyfriend Chip.
2 1/2 stars from me. Check out the trailer below.
Buried
Wow. What a great movie. I've always been a fan of Ryan Reynolds, I find him vey intertaining, but I did not think the dude could act like this. He puts on a clinic of acing! He proves (with this role) that he is a serious actor and to be taken seriously. I loved this film, Reynolds pulled it off well.
Synopsis from IMDb
Waking groggy in pitch darkness, Paul Conroy, an American truck driver working in Iraq in 2006, slowly realizes he is trapped inside a wooden coffin, buried alive. With his cigarette lighter, he can see the trap he is in, and he quickly realizes that there's not enough air for him to live long. He finds within the coffin a working cellphone, which allows him contact with the outside world. But the outside world proves not to be very helpful at finding a man buried in a box in the middle of the Iraqi desert. Paul must rely on his best resource--himself.
I give ths film 4 stars. Give the trailer a view.

Howling 2: Your Sister Is A Werewolf (1985)
So I never heard much of the sequels, so I didn't know what to go in expecting. Now I am aware of why I never heard much of them, there's nothing to say about them, or atleast the 2nd film. I was awed by how bad this movie was. It was horrible. One of the many movies I will never watch again. The effects were bad, the story was bad and the acting was bad (except for Christopher Lee).
Now part 3 is next on my Netflix queue so we'll see how that goes. I already watched the trailer and it looks to be even worse than part 2. I guess I'm too dumb to call it quits, that or my ocd is forcing me to follow them out 'til the end. Either way, I'm on a bad run of horror movies lately, it sucks. I guess that's what you get when you love this genre so much, you have to put up with so many bad ones to get to the good ones. Happens with every genre I guess.
Synopsis taken from IMBd
When Ben, the brother of one of the werewolf victims from the first movie, is told that the world is actually full of werewolves and they're planning to take control, he is skeptical. After a good deal of convincing from werewolf hunter Stefan, however, he finally agrees to join Stefan's band of lycanthrope hunters in Transylvania on a mission to kill Stirba, Queen of the Werewolves. Can the group survive against her army of evil?
Anyway, if for some reason you're intrigued by maybe watching this movie go ahead and view the trailer below. Hopefully it'll change your mind.
I give this 0 stars.

Demons 2 (1986)
This movie was more entertaining to me in almost every way, but I still didn't like it. It was part 2 of a gorey music video. I really wanted to give these movies a chance but these were misses, not hits. I can only hope to make up for it with the next movies I get from Netflix, The Howling 2 and 3. Look for my reviews!
Synopsis taken from IMDb
A documentary is shown on TV of group of teens who investigate the legendary forbidden zone, in which once took place a Demon infestation (see Demoni I). When finding a lifeless corps of a demon, one of the teens causes the resurrection it, and the demon makes it's way into the nearby world by TV-broadcast... An unlucky girl, having her birthday-party at that time, gets posessed by the demon while watching the documentary and soon the complete building in which she lives turns into a living nighmare....
1 1/2 stars. Check out the trailer below.
Demons (1985)
Let me start off by saying that I finally was able to squeeze in some new horror in between my girlfriend making me watch the Harry Potter's (which aren't bad by the way). And the movie I finally got around to watching was Lamberto Bava's Demons.
Synopsis taken from IMDb
Art imitating art is the basis of this demonic tale of a group of invited guests who are granted a free lunch in the form of a screening of a horror film that brings naturalism to life. Baited and penned in, this walled-in feeling quickly turns to screams and fear as those who are dead lust after the flesh of those living. The free lunch has turned full circle in the cinema of hell and it is only a question of time before the demons from the abyss are asking for second portions.
I had alot of hype and excitement behind these movies and was severly disapointed. It was a 90 minute gorey music video. The whole movie was people running around like idiots while they played 80's metal the entire movie as background noise. Now I love 80's metal, I like alot of movies with bad effects and bad acting, I also like movies that tend to be just so horrible that I kind of like it for a reason I can't put my finger on. But put all those things together and it is not a good combination of tricks.
I know this movie has a huge fan following, and this is one of the movies where I say to fans and to the movie itself "I don't get it. I don't think this movie was entertaining in the least bit."
I give this 1 star for the fact that I was able to laugh through it. Check out the trailer below.
