Iron Man 3 Tony Stark by Hot Toys

Hot Toys proves again why they are the best high-end action figure company on the planet with their latest release. Every single figure Hot Toys does is a step up from the last and this Tony Stark is amazing! We all knew that with the success of their previous Iron Man stuff that there would be Iron Man 3 products. The likeness of Robert Downey Jr. is perfect and creepily realistic in this new collectible.

This bad boy comes with some exceptionally awesome accessories and an incredible base. I won't be purchasing this figure, not that I don't want it because I would love to have it. This hobby is simply too expensive to keep up with everything and if you don't have an unlimited budget you have to pick and chose what you collect and you don't. For me, it's easy, The Dark Knight Trilogy and horror, that's it. But if I had enough disposable income I would buy this in a heartbeat. Even if I can't buy it I can still admire it!

Hot Toys have done every Iron Man suit to date and this is their 2nd Tony Stark figure, and probably the best figure from their series of action figures.

    It really does look like Robert Downey too. I want those Django dollies (mainly Stephen - Samuel L. Jackson), but ebay has banned sales of them because they (allegedly) reinforce slavery. LOL "white guilt" much? Nobody ever complained about the Princess Leia slave girl dolly.

      Yeah that pisses me off. Everything has to have some sort of bitching behind it. If they saw the movie they'd know it isn't pro-slavery. I'd like to get these but it's not in my budget.

      When I was a kid I had Action Man figures (G.I. Joes) dressed in full-on Nazi uniforms, Britain's Ltd. German soldiers, and all kinds of war toys which aren't acceptable now. I also had a black Action Man (named "Tom Stone" by Palitoy) who I regularly dressed as a cowboy due to not having enough figures (those bastards had more clothes than I did!) so I don't see much difference in a Mego-lookalike black doll dressed as a gunfighter. Is Tonto from the Gabriel line of Lone Ranger toys banned for being a Red Injun? People are stupid.

    I just saw this movie today and it was AWESOME!!!

    The ending kind of upset me but it was an epic movie overall, don't listen to the party poopers in here, see it for yourself and judge it, you never know you just might like it, I LOVED IT!! XD
