A man runs an apartment house for women is the demented son of a Nazi surgeon who has the house equipped  with secret passageways, hidden rooms and torture and murder devices.

I hadn't heard to much about this one when I went into it, I just wanted to check out a horror flick and thought this one sounds pretty promising. This movie is available on Netflix instant for those of you wanting to give it a go.

Okay so from the start I knew this dude was too weird and creepy to normal. Total weirdo. And he got weirder and weirder as the film went on. He was the guy your neighbors would gossip about, and kids probably wouldn't go to his door for Halloween unless they had a parent with them.

He creeps on his female tenants by crawling through the vents, getting off on what he saw. This was a good performance by Laus Kinski but I thought it could have been a role taken more seriously. He's just a creepy looking dude naturally, you don't have to put makeup or prosthetics on him. He wasn't as much scary and threatening as much as just creepy.

When spying on his tenants, he makes a tap, tap, tap noise and it gets the attention of some of the tenants. When they confront him about the noise and demand an explanation he tells them it's just rats but you can tell they have their suspicions.

The tenants in this movie were pretty well acted, not the best and not the worst sort of deal, but definitely acceptable. It wasn't acting bad enough to hurt the movie. The tenants are Jessica, a up-and-coming Soap Opera star, Harriet, the sexy secretary, Sophie, a great pianist who has wild affairs with her boyfriend and Lori, is a young college student who moves into a vacant apartment.

My main flaw with this movie are that it got a little goofy and ridiculous and I didn't think it was realistic how he kept getting over on the girls. He isn't an intimidating guy to me. I think they could have taken him.

He plays Russian Roulette with himself to see if he should continue his journey into spying on his tenants. Told you he was a weirdo.

All in all it wasn't a bad film. I enjoyed it and I'd watch it again. It's not at the top of my favorites list but it's decent. It all climaxed well and had a decent ending.

THIS FILM GETS 2 REAPERS OUT OF 4
